State of Horror: Illinois Audio Book Edition with Frank J. Edler

State of Horror Illinois audio book feature Frank J Edler

AUDIO BOOK: State of Horror: Illinois
RELEASE: February 2015
STORY: In Chicago, The Dish Is So Deep, No One Can Hear You Scream

Charon Coin Press: What do you think about your story being translated into an audio format?
Frank Edler: I think it is an outstanding opportunity for the contents of the anthology to reach a wider audience base.
CCP: What aspect of your story do you feel is enhanced by being heard as opposed to read?
FE: The ability to be exposed to the story outside of a person’s regular reading time. You can’t read driving the car on the way to work!
CCP: What books have most influenced your life?
FE: Stephen King’s “The Stand”, Motley Crue’s “The Dirt” and Brian Keene’s “Dark Hallow” are always stand outs.
CCP:  Do you have a favorite monster/horror character?
FE: I’ve always been a big fan of Freddy Krueger, he’s always got the best one liners.
CCP: What do you see as the perfect setting for listening to State of Horror: Illinois?
FE: Huddled around a private room, with all the other contributors of State of Horror: Illinois having a great big celebratory release party while the sexy Shaternesque voice of Jack Wallen reads our sexy words back to us in the background noise of great company.
