Siobhan Kinkade Joins Carpe Noctem Project

Carpe Noctem Opens Submission November 1, 2014

Every relationship has conflict. Some of the conflicts can be simple and others can destroy the relationship.  Whether a couple has trouble communicating, has to move across the country for a job, has a difficult mother-in-law, snores, or whatever large or small issue, there is one truth—every relationship faces some sort of challenge.  What if the major challenge is that each member of the relationship is a different species?

Charon Coin Press is extremely pleased to announce the addition of Siobhan Kinkade as co-editor of Carpe Noctem: Truly, Madly, Deeply.  Kinkade is an accomplished author in her own right with many titles available and will bring a an enthusiastic energy and skill to the anthology.

Charon Coin Press’ newest open anthology spearheaded by Margaret L. Colton and Siobhan Kinkade, Carpe Noctem: Truly, Madly, Deeply, is a glimpse into paranormal romance relationships.  Meaning that one half of a couple is human and one half is paranormal.  What is fascinating and entertaining about these stories is the exploration into the inherent conflicts of a paranormal relationship.  What advice could possibly be offered to your best friend with their partner wants to use them as a juice box?  What would happen if a clan’s politics bleeds into the human world, putting your husband in danger?

So many possibilities for a story wrought with inherent tension and conflict.  Great stories of couples fighting their basic natures or preconceived notions or outside forces bent on tearing them apart all in the name of love.  How will these couples overcome the obstacles in their way—can they overcome all the heartache and danger?

Carpe Noctem: Truly, Madly, Deeply will be exploring the tense side of romance with a twist of paranormal.  We are looking for great stories full of creativity and imagination to explore another side of romance.
